Orders are shipped within 2 - 5 business days of receipt at Seven Seas Gifts, after that delivery time depends upon the type of shipping service you've specified, unless an item may be back-ordered indicated by codes "A" or "B" (on Fine Jewelry), therefore, allow 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.
The shipping charge will be 20% of the merchandise total (30% outside of the Continental U.S.) and air freight will be extra (but be aware though, air freight is expensive). There may also be an extra modest fee for handling & processing of order (amount is a small percentage of total amount of order). There is a 7% sales tax for MS. residents.
Any time the code letter "S" appears after "Packs Ordered", it signifies that the particular item you ordered required imprinting and/or special handling. Therefore, the item could not be shipped immediately. Allow approximately 4 - 6 weeks for delivery of custom imprinted material.
Any time the code letter "C" appears after "Packs Ordered", it signifies that the item was out-of-stock at the time and could not be shipped. If this is the case, you will be credited back the cost of that particular item on your credit card used. ---- Or you may immediately send an e-mail to customer service requesting that the same item be reordered at the same cost, unless the price of that particular item has
increased by supplier at the time it is reordered. If the price has gone up for some unforseen reason, you can opt to pay the difference in price -- or still get a credit on your credit card used at the time of the
initial order. If you reorder an out-of-stock item however, it will not be available for reorder until the date that is directly after the "C" under "Packs Shipped". NOTE: But it is imperative that you e-mail customer service immediately and make known your request that you want to reorder the same item -- or you may substitute it for another item, but only of equal cost, if you so choose -- otherwise you will be given the credit for that particular item on the credit card used at the time you placed your order! Also, note that on an order of multiple items the shipping amount (if any) that would be credited back to your account may not equal 20% (30% for customers outside of the Continental U.S.) of the item amount that would be credited back due to postage paid on package of other items already received.
Generally, we do not back-order. If an item is out-of-stock, you will receive a credit for that item and you can always reorder at a later date (unless as mentioned above, you specifically notify us at customer service with your special request for a 'reorder'). Most often, unless otherwise specified, an out-of-stock item is likely to be back in stock fairly soon and then can be reordered at that time.
NOTE: MERCHANDISE ORDERS UNDER $25.00 WILL HAVE A $2.50 "SMALL ORDER" SERVICE FEE. The net profit on orders runs about 6%. This means that the profit is about $1.50 on a $25.00 order. It costs much more than that to process an order. We add the $2.50 charge to come close to what accountants figure is a break-even point. (Go to page 2 for more info.)
